Visit Rome, "the Eternal City"
Rome is one of the most unique places in the world. Your Villa lays in the countryside just one hour and a half from Italy’s capital.
You may land at Rome airport “Leonardo Da Vinci” and we can arrange a tour of the city before welcoming you at the Villa or after your stay here, on your way home. -
Learn how to find truffles
Umbria is famous for its truffles: have a look at this blog post to learn more.
At the Villa you can enjoy a truly Umbrian experience by joining a professional “hunter” and his dogs in the complicate quest for this delicious gift of the woods.
Book your experience and find out if luck is on your side. -
Learn to love extra virgin olive oil
In Italy we took seriously our food, did you notice that?
The olive trees nearby the Villa produce our extra virgin organic oil, with a little twist of care and passion for healthy food we provide.
Let you be guided from expert and passionate sommeliers and learn the characteristics a good E.V. olive oil must have: you will appreciate ours’ decided fragrances. -
We make wine, we offer experiences
Wine is not only something you drink: not for us. It’s the history of our land, it’s the smell you feel in the vineyards, it’s part of our souls. Discover our wine-based experiences: from a classical wine tasting, to a picnic in the vineyards, up to a complete SPA experience based on our wines.

Get to Florence with us
If visiting Florence is in your holiday plans, we can arrange the visit for you.
Options are many, since this beautiful city is only a couple of hours away from the Villa: a private driver, a car to rent to enjoy driving in the hills of central Italy, or a very simple train ride to the heart of the city. Plus: museum entrances pre-booked in advance and tips from locals to enjoy the most beautiful and exclusive spots. -
Quality time with your kids
L'”Uva e le stelle” is the perfect place for families with kids: they can explore the park and the garden as they want, since it’s fenced and totally safe.
If you plan to have some extras with them we have some options for you starting from nearby parks (Leo Wild Park in Todi, Parco dei mostri in Bomarzo, Parco Cinque Sensi in Vitorchiano) to activities with animals and wild nature (WWF Natural oasis in Alviano, Play Horse in Orvieto, Alpaca Farm in Tarquinia).
Let us arrange the best one for your family. -
Visit one of the most iconic places in Italy
The village of Bagnoregio and its small area named “Civita” are 20 minutes away from the Villa.
It is called “the dying village” and is part of the national association called “The most beautiful villages of Italy”. You can reach it only on foot from a bridge overseeing an astonishing badlands valley and, once inside the walls, look at one of the most iconic places of the whole country. We can arrange guided tours in many languages for you and your guests.
-
Your lake escape only 14 miles away
From the Villa doorstep to the wonderful Bolsena lake you have only 14 miles.
We can arrange a visit to the lake for you and your family and friends: it is possible to explore the lake via the ancient path of the Via Francigena, a more than 1800 miles way that starts in the UK in Canterbury to reach Rome and then Santa Maria di Leuca (the most remote village at the “heel” of Italy). Once at the lake you can enjoy a beautiful boat ride on the water.
